Chelsea are one of a few bands that hail from 77 to have a glorius past and even eventful existance. The band had various line up changes over the years, but with supports with the likes of the Clash and the Police they had not been idol. Hailing from an ad in Melody Maker in August 76 in which relies came from one William Broad aka Billy Idol, Tony James and John Towe. Chelsea are now back playing with original 78 line up of Gene October/Chris Bashford/James Stevenson. The band are re-releasing The Alternative on Step Forward later in 2004 but will also be releasing a new album..watch this space.
