AMOS was born the youngest son of a persian doctor. His mother comes from Germany where he was raised. He had been into music eversince. He learned to master the flute in the age of 5. One year later he began his piano lessons. An instrument that should never let hold off him anymore. He had been taking lessons in classical music until he was 16. During that time he won numerous piano competitions and played as many concerts always being boosted by his teachers. By the time he was 15 he started playing the guitar which came to him very easily. He joined several bands with their musical output ranging from rock to funk. That was the time he began singing, writing and recording songs. He learned how to play the drums and bassguitar thus was subsequently independent. At the age of 19 he started studying design in Munich where he still lives today. At that same time AMOS started doing pop music. "I've always been into pop. My first records have been 80ies pop, albums of Michael Jackson, Chaka Khan, Pat Benatar, ... I behold it as the supreme discipline of music, as there's such a broad range to move and express within." At daytime he went to the university in the evening he created his distinctive musical style. "It's no contradiction. I think creativity is universal. Anyone who calls himself an artist and possesses some kind of feeling for composition must be able and keen to hop between any creative discipline he likes. No matter if it’s music, painting, design, whatever..." So he kept on going double-tracked. His first demos were made with native instruments only. Without a drumset let alone a practice room he recorded the rhythm section with his mouth. After he completed his designers degree he founded a company by the name of designliga along with two fellow companions. Very quickly they became exceedingly successful. AMOS' miscellaneousness and his never ending search for new challenges made him work as conceptioner, designer, music video director and more for renowned companies like Adidas, Cartier, Universal and let him win the IF communication design award 5 times and the red dot design award 3 times - both awards being among the highest decorations in the business. Later he also started lecturing at college. But still AMOS wasn't satisfied with the way his life was leading. More and more often he caught himself neglecting what he has been loving the most - music. In 2005 he turned down an offered major deal. "I didn't want any compromise!" So 2006 he threw his job overboard and started focussing. Since then he is been spending all his money, passion and beliefs in his music. He is literally working his ass off, doing almost every single creative thing related to this project on his own. He is signed by the german label Sounds of Subterrania! that shares the same idealistic vision which is to bring "authentic music back into pop - from bottom to top!" "I make songs not sounds. Artists nowadays often create their specific sound initially - and subsequently become service providers within their own creative borders. That’s good for marketing but not for me. I will always preserve the greatest creative freedom possible."
