2 guys, 2 towns, 1000 Songs and 1 guitar... das britisch-deutsche Duo besteht aus dem Hamburger Sänger, Gitarristen und Produzenten Malte Hagemeister und seinem britischen Freund und Partner Paul Colbourne aka Harry K. aus Brighton/UK. Harry K. war Co-Songschreiber und Musiker (DJ & MC) in der britischen Band Apollo 440. Apollo’s weltweite Hitsingle "Heart Goes Boom" stammt ebenso aus seiner Feder wie auch das 2001er "Charlies Angels" Thema. Harry K. spielt in den Apollo 440-Seitenprojekten "Maximum Roach" und "The Jungle". Neben seiner Arbeit als Musiker ist er vor allem ein äusserst gefragter Remixer - u.a. für Asian Dub Foundation, Kool Keith, Bloodhound Gang und Alphaville - und hervorragender Hip Hop, Breakbeat Ragga und Elektro-DJ. Harry K. hat bereits zwei Soloalben "Box of Tricks" (Elektrolux/GER) und "The Reluctant Barber" (Hydrogen Dukebox/UK) veröffentlicht. Malte Hagemeister, gebürtiger Hannoveraner und Wahlhamburger, hat bereits eine eindrucksvolle Karriere hingelegt: In den 90er Jahren rockt er sich mit seiner Hannoveraner Band Be ("Black Rain") in die erste Liga deutscher Rock/Popbands. Mit Fettes Brot hat er zuletzt eine Tour als Fettes Brot und die Herren absolviert, wo er die Liveband zusammengestellt hat. Auf dem neuen Album hat er auch wieder zwei Tracks produziert, vorher unter anderem die Fettes Brot Single "Welthit". Ferner schreibt Malte Hagemeister Songs für Timo Maas, hat die Musik zur aktuellen AOL TV-Kampagne geschrieben und ist auch sonst als Songwriter omnipresent (z.B. Sugababes). Urban Delights - Beats for the rockers & rock for the clubbers ! Energetisch und wild. Musik im Geiste der Mashups: Stilclash, dreckige Samples, dicke Beats, laute Gitarren und catchy Vocals zum feiern, kurzum: Das beste beider Welten! Zwei Männer, zwei Mikrofone, zwei Gitarren, Turntables und Laptop - donnernde oldschool Breaks und 4/4-Beats mit funkigen Gitarrenriffs und mehr als nur einem Fuss im Rock - aber jederzeit poppig und orhwurmverdächtig und stets plakativ, wie ihre Songtitel "Rock'n'Roll Star", "Revolution No. 1", Won't Let U Down" oder "Crush!" erahnen lassen. Urban Delights verstehen ihre Performances unter einer erweiterten Soundsystem Idee.
