Atlantique

Barretso, Kolt13 und Thieves Like Us sorgen für reichlich erstklassige Remixe.

Transmusicale (Rennes(, Printemps de Bourges, 4sans (Bordeaux), Social Club & Showcase (Paris), Razzmatazz (Barcelona), Olympic (Nantes), Villa Rouge (Montpellier), Batie festival (Geneva), etc., weltweit auf.

“A bright glimmer of real promise here” - NME

“Minitel Rose share Klaxons’ melodic sensibility, Boy Crisis’ lissom sophistication and, at their best (whistle-tastic single ‘Magic Powder’, a potential indie-electro ‘Young Folks’), Lykke Li’s spare sound palette. They should ease off the shrill, clichéd Justice synths, but there is a bright glimmer of real promise here.” NME

November 2010.

French electro trio Minitel Rose is back in the game. Two years after their first album, The French Machine (Futur, 2008) which sold over 10,000 units (!), Raphael, Romain and Quentin are finally releasing its follow-up. The new album is called Atlantique and it’s out since June 7. Atlantique features 13 potential hit tracks and exceeds the expectations…The first single of the album ‘Wild Birds’, has an Electro-House tinged Disco SynthPop sound with full effect on this energetic, anthemic track.

It’s retro synth chords and uplifting vocals seriously bode well for this album being the soundtrack to the summer. On remix duties they have some big names, including Barretso, Kolt13 and Thieves Like Us.

Minitel Rose is an electro-disco trio originally from Nantes, France. They are part of the Valerie Collective together with their fellow tour mates Anoraak. The awsome French trio is sticking to their roots by fusing French touch and disco with electro riffs.

They are touring the world around as a live band and with their eclectic electro/new wave DJsets.

Minitel Rose has played with their 4 man live band and DJ’ing at some of the best clubs and festivals around the world like Transmusicale (Rennes), Printemps de Bourges, 4sans (Bordeaux), Social Club & Showcase (Paris), Razzmatazz (Barcelona), Olympic (Nantes), Villa Rouge (Montpellier), Batie festival (Geneva) etc …

You will see a lot of these French men the next many months.
